About the Author
And Other Adventures In The Life Of Reilly was written by American author William Dean Howells. Howells was a prolific writer who wrote over 100 novels and short stories. He was also a vocal advocate for social justice and equality.
Howells was born in Ohio in 1837. He began his writing career as a journalist and later worked as an editor for several magazines. In 1871, he published his first novel, Their Wedding Journey. The novel was a success and launched Howells's career as a novelist.
