In the summer of 2019, I embarked on a journey across Europe, from the Hook of Holland to the Middle Danube. I traveled by train, bus, and boat, and I visited 12 countries in 10 weeks. Along the way, I met fascinating people, learned about different cultures, and saw some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.

My journey began in the Hook of Holland, a small town on the North Sea coast. I took a ferry to Harwich, England, and then a train to London. From London, I traveled to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava, and Belgrade. I ended my journey in Novi Sad, Serbia, on the banks of the Danube River.

During my travels, I visited some of Europe's most iconic landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Charles Bridge. I also explored some of Europe's hidden gems, such as the canals of Bruges, the vineyards of the Moselle Valley, and the mountains of the Tatra Mountains.

I met people from all walks of life during my travels. I talked to refugees who had fled war-torn countries, to students who were studying abroad, and to retirees who were enjoying their golden years. I learned about the different challenges and opportunities that people face in different parts of Europe.

I also learned a lot about myself during my travels. I learned that I am more adaptable than I thought I was, and that I can get along with people from all different backgrounds. I also learned that I love to travel and that I am always looking for new adventures.

My journey across Europe was an incredible experience. I saw some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, met fascinating people, and learned a lot about different cultures. I would highly recommend this journey to anyone who is interested in exploring Europe.

Here are some of the highlights of my journey:

  • Visiting the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam
  • Taking a boat trip down the Rhine River
  • Hiking in the Tatra Mountains
  • Visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp
  • Exploring the old town of Prague
  • Seeing the Budapest Parliament Building
  • Taking a cruise down the Danube River

If you are planning a trip across Europe, here are a few tips:

  • Book your train and bus tickets in advance, especially if you are traveling during peak season.
  • Pack light so that you can easily move around.
  • Be prepared for a variety of weather conditions.
  • Learn a few basic phrases in the local language.
  • Be open to new experiences and meeting new people.

I hope you enjoy your journey across Europe as much as I did!
